Generator Hostel is one of London’s largest hostels, situated in Russell Square. Within walking distance of Generator Hostel you will find a multitude of bars, restaurants and clubs in Leicester Square, Covent Garden and Piccadilly Circus. Russell Square Underground Station is within easy walking distance, from where you can access the rest of the capital with ease.

Generator Hostel has over 800 beds in private or shared rooms. Each room has its own washbasin and toilets and showers are plentiful on each floor. Generator Hostel Bar is lively with a large dancefloor - the perfect place to relax with new friends. The Turbine Bar is open 24 hours a day and has satellite television, a refreshment bar and a games room with pool tables, video games and table football. Generator Hostel also has an internet room, reading/study room and tourist information centre.


Generator Hostel is surrounded by many historic attractions. Stroll to the British Museum for a fun-filled lesson in world history. By Tube

Generator Hostel is just a 5-10 minute walk away from Euston Station, which gives you access to the Northern and Victoria lines.

On Foot

When you reach Euston Station, follow the exit signs to get to Euston Road. Turn left and walk down this road until you come to a travel agent on the right, then turn right onto Mabledon Place. Walk straight on through Cartwirght Gardens and on to Marchmont Street, and then turn left onto Tavistock Place, past the Snappy Snaps shop. Walk down this road and you will come to Generator Hostel on the left.
