Description

Museum Inn is a colourful and cosy hostel, tucked away on a quiet street to the side of the British Museum. The hostel sleeps around 75 backpackers in dormitory rooms, ranging in size, from 4 to 12 beds. The rooms are light and simple. There are security lockers in the rooms, so that you can store your backpack (or suitcase) and feel confident that everything is safe. The staff at Museum Inn are friendly and helpful; many are travellers themselves, so they can offer valuable advice and tips.

Museum Inn has shared bathrooms, which are cleaned daily. There are cooking facilities so that you can cook for yourself, which is a good way to cut costs. Museum Inn has a great location, so you can walk to most of central London's attractions. Covent Garden is minutes away, where there are plenty of bars and clubs, in which to make the most of the fact that Museum Inn doesn't have a curfew. The nearest tube station is Russell Square, which is only 5 minutes away.

Museum Inn has a brilliant location in the heart of Bloomsbury. This is an area with a rich literary history; just behind the hostel is Senate House library, which is the library for the University of London ? you might recognise in the film "Batman Begins." The British Museum is worth a visit, as is the market in Covent Garden and the John Soane Museum, which are all within walking distance.

Museum Inn - Great location! Be quick to get your hot water. Be even quicker for breakfast. Take a chain lock for your bin. MEET THE PEOPLE!! Good vibe!

We loved our stay at the Museum Inn, everything is so close and everybody at the hostel is very friendly. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner of Crepes and Cider!! We will come definitely again.

This hostel had everything I could ask for, a fantastic location, great staff, excellent beds, hot water and they have these great dinners every week which makes you feel like you are at home and that creates a great atmosphere for meeting people. - Would recommend this hostel to all!

What a great find! The Museum Inn is in one of the best locations in London, we walked everywhere. The Manager was very helpful and we enjoyed a brilliant Mexican theme dinner in the dining room. Good sturdy beds with lockers underneath. I will go back to the Museum Inn when I return next year.
